Shawn L. Thompson MS, DDS
| Dr. Shawn L. Thompson grew up in rural eastern Indiana. After graduation from Indiana University in 1986 he worked as a dental technician for several years before attending dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. After receiving his DDS degree in 1996, he entered the Navy to continue his education in an Advanced General Dentistry Residency. He remained in the Navy for 3 additional years until entering private practice in 2000. Dr. Thompson acquired the practice of Gary and Cheryl DeWood in 2003. He has received extensive post-doctoral training in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Thompson has also taken several continuing education courses in the area of Sleep Medicine. He is currently the only dentist in NW Ohio licensed to perform the LANAP Procedure. Doctor and his staff are fully trained to provide Computer Assisted Dentistry with the Cerec CAD/CAM system. |

| Dr. Thompson is a member of local Dental Organizations, The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Shawn enjoys his time away from the office with his wife and 5 little boys. He also enjoys attending Michigan Football games. Dr Thompson has recently received his Masters Degree in Forensic Sciences from the University of Florida. |
